The Reverend Dr Andrew Teal
Bio
Andrew Teal (he/him) has been chaplain of Pembroke for nearly 20 years. In addition to the provision of chapel activities (see more here) and teaching Greek and Ancient & Modern Theology across the University, much of his energy is spent supporting students and staff in very diverse ways.
Separate to his role in the Chapel, Andrew is responsible for providing pastoral care to all members of College. He supports individuals of all faiths and none with a non-judgmental, confidential, active listening style.
Andrew will be a careful advocate if that is desired, and commitment to being involved and supportive to all is a core value of his.
When appropriate - with your permission - Andrew is happy to liaise with other members of the welfare team in order to provide as supportive a network as possible and to build a college community of trust, support, and care together.
